Eyal Kaplan President
Eyal has been a General Partner with Walden Israel since 1995. Walden Israel is a leading early stage venture capital firm with institutional investors from the US, Europe and Israel, and is among the top performers among its peers. He is now active in additional initiatives in private equity investing, direct company involvement, and entrepreneurship.
At Walden, Eyal has focused on early stage investments in information technology and other industries. He currently serves on the Boards of several Walden portfolio companies, including Universal-Ad, Camero, Enigma, and Schema, and until recently nLayers (sold to EMC) and Cognitens (Sold to Hexagon).
Prior to joining Walden Israel, Eyal was a founding executive at Geotek Communications, a U.S. pioneering company specializing in wireless and mobile data technology. At Geotek, Eyal held senior roles in many areas. He helped grow the company from three initial employees to over 400 and to bring the company to a market cap of close to $1 billion.
Eyal holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the Technion in Israel, an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, and an MA in International Studies from the School of Arts and Sciences at The Lauder Institute, the University of Pennsylvania. He is the Chairman of the Wharton-Israel Alumni Club and a member of the Board of the Technion Alumni Association, and sits on the Advisory Boards of the Caesarea Center for Risk Management at IDC, and the Global Consulting Practicum at the Wharton School. Eyal is a regular speaker at Wall Street and industry conferences.
Adi Goldin CEO
Adi has over 8 years of successful track record in investing, managing and nurturing technology driven companies and startups. Adi was responsible for these companies in penetrating international market, turnaround situations, M&A, public offerings and private placements. Prior to Softlib Adi was business development director at Docor International Management and investments director at Inventech Venture Capital (TASE: IVTC).
Before this, Adi practiced Law in the Law office of Israeli, Blustein, Kogan & Co. In addition, he was part of the teaching staff of the MBA program run jointly by Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management ( Chicago , USA). Mr. Goldin participated in the International Marketing Program and the Global Consulting Program, a joint project of Pennsylvania University's Wharton Business School and Tel Aviv University's Business School.
Mr. Goldin is an associate of the Israel Bar Association. He holds B.A. and M.A degrees in Economics, summa cum laude, and an LL.B in Law - all from Tel Aviv University.
Avichai Elgavish VP Marketing & Sales
Avichai has over 13 years of successful experience in laying business infrastructures, executing global marketing and sales activities and leading business cooperation with strategic partners.
Prior to Softlib Avichai held various executive positions both in start up companies and large corporations, e.g. VP marketing & sales of Cogniview Systems and Business Development Director for BMC software.
Along the years Avichai worked closely with leading corporations and strategic partners like Microsoft, PWC, Deloitte, Vignette, DIC, and Marubeni Corp. Avichai Holds a BA in Foreign Relations & East Asian studies and MA in Japanese Business Culture from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Yoav Gelbfish CTO
Yoav is one of Soflib's founders and is responsible for Softlib's technological strategy and vision. Yoav has over 15 years of thorough experience in software research and development and in recognizing user needs and providing software solutions that fully meet these needs.
Prior to Softlib Yoav worked for several leading start up companies, e.g. for Deal Time (later known as Shopping.com) where he was responsible for various R&D tasks and led turn key solutions projects.
Yoav holds a B.Sc degree in Mathematics and Computers Science from Bar Ilan University and held several technological positions in MAMRAM (The Israeli Army Computer Corp.).
Rotem Ackermann Chief Operation Officer
Rotem is responsible for Softlib's operations. Rotem leads Softlib's implementation and customer service, account and support, and is leading the customer interaction activities in Softlib to maximize customer satisfaction.
Prior to Softlib Rotem worked for over 10 years for Kfar Hamaccabiah convention & event center, fulfilling various operation positions including COO position for over 4 years. Rotem successfully managed and led operations, customer service, CRM activities and IT.
Rotem Holds BSc. in business industrial management specializing in Information Systems from Schenkar College.
